Every Cedar Rock Barns building is built to last with quality materials and solid construction. Here is what goes into each of our three building lines. Many components can be upgraded; see pricing for options or ask our team.
Pro Series
- Foundation: 4x4 treated runners
- Floor joists: 2x4 treated, 12" on center
- Flooring: 1/2" plywood (5/8" on 10' and 12' wide)
- Wall studs: 2x4, 24" on center, with plywood stiffener
- Siding: 7/16" OSB with vinyl siding
- Rafters: 2x4, 24" on center
- Roof sheathing: 7/16" OSB
- Roof: 25-year 3-tab shingles
- Doors: double-swing vinyl-clad with aluminum-wrapped trim and jamb, locking tee handle and keyed set
Painted Premium
- Foundation: 4x4 pressure-treated lumber
- Floor joists: 2x4 treated, 12" on center
- Flooring: 5/8" exterior grade (optional 3/4" pressure-treated)
- Wall studs: 2x4, 16" on center, double 2x4 top plate with plywood stiffener
- Siding: T1-11 fir 5-ply Duratemp
- Paint: two-tone standard, your choice of color
- Rafters: 2x4, 24" on center standard (14' wide: 2x4, 16" on center; 16' wide: 2x6, 24" on center)
- Roof: 25-year 3-tab shingles (architectural optional), ridge vent standard
- Doors: double-swing painted with trim; steel roll-up on some models
- Latch: tee handle with keyed lock set
Vinyl Premium
- Foundation: 4x4 pressure-treated lumber
- Floor joists: 2x4 treated, 12" on center
- Flooring: 5/8" exterior grade (optional 3/4" pressure-treated)
- Wall studs: 2x4, 16" on center, double 2x4 top plate with plywood stiffener
- Siding: 7/16" OSB with lifetime vinyl siding
- Rafters: 2x4, 24" on center standard (14' wide: 2x4, 16" on center; 16' wide: 2x6, 24" on center)
- Roof: 25-year 3-tab shingles (architectural optional), ridge vent standard
- Doors: double-swing vinyl-clad with aluminum-wrapped trim and jamb; steel roll-up on some models
- Latch: tee handle with keyed lock set
🪟Windows and upgrades
Select models include standard windows, and windows can be added to any building. Many other upgrades are available (flooring, roof, framing, doors, and more). See pricing for details or ask our team to spec your building.
🪵Foundation & runner placement
Your building rests on 4x4 pressure-treated runners. The number and spacing of the runners depends on the building width, as shown. Use this to plan a level, solid pad that fully supports the building. See our Site Prep guide for how to build the pad.
